some japanese superstitions...

• if you whistle at night, snakes will come to you and you will be in slytherin house.
  
• if you wear tabi or traditional japanese socks to bed, you will die.
• if you stab your chopsticks in your rice upright, you will die.
• if you pass food to another person's chopsticks, something bad will happen aka a nasty case of death.
• if you cut your nails at night, you will have bad luck or die.. either is okay.
  
• if you are nervous, you have to air draw the kanji for person on your hand and then pretend to eat it or lick your hand, i'm not sure about this one...
